چکیده
In this study, on-site bending experiments which represented realistic and pragmatic engineering applications were performed to investigate the resistance, deflection, cracking process of latticed girder composite slabs. Then, utilizing ABAQUS software, nonlinear finite element (FE) models established behavior The modeling took into account contact between precast cast-in-place concrete interfaces. Additionally, a damage-cracking methodology was introduced evaluate crack opening width slab. results demonstrated that proposed numerical model capable reproducing typical slabs’ performance analysis. experimental demonstrate lattice slabs conformed requirement existing design codes.

Experimental and Numerical Investigation on Bending Capacity of Steel- concrete Composite Truss Girder
This article presents an experimental investigation on the bending capacity of steel-concrete composite truss girder (SCCTG). Four full-scale specimens named CB1, CB2a, CB2b and CB3 respectively, are tested and numerical analyzed. Stress distribution, load-displacement relationship, load-slip relationship and ultimate bending capacity of SCCTGs are investigated. The results show that SCCTG foll...
متن کاملExperimental and Numerical Investigations on the Effect of Rectangular Openings’ Aspect Ratio on Outflow Discharge
Up to now, a few formulas have been suggested by scholars for the amount of discharge from openings, however, the effect of opening's geometry on the amount of discharge has not addressed thoroughly. In this study, to assess the effect of rectangular openings’ aspect ratio on the discharge amount, experimental and numerical investigations have been conducted on the discharge amount from rectang...
متن کاملExperimental Investigations on Microstructural and Mechanical Behavior of Friction Stir Welded Aluminum Matrix Composite
The welding of materials by applying Friction Stir Welding technique is a new solid-state joining technique. The main advantage of this method compared to the traditional joining process is that it minimizes problem-related to metal resolidification as the method incorporates no melting phase. In this experimental work, the effect of friction stir welding (FSW) technique on the microstructu...
متن کاملNumerical and Experimental Investigations on Springback of U-bending of DP600 Steel Alloy Sheet
The most prominent feature of sheet material forming process is an elastic recovery phenomenon during unloading which leads to springback and side wall curl. Therefore evaluation of springback and side wall curl is mandatory for production of precise products. In this paper, the effects of some parameters such as friction coefficient, sheet thickness, yield strength of sheet and blank-holder fo...
متن کاملNumerical and Experimental Investigations on the Behavior of Steel-reinforced Concrete Columns Subjected to Eccentric Loading
Steel-reinforced concrete (SRC) columns, which are classified as composite columns, became the most widely used in recent years; because of their extensive advantages over the reinforced concrete and the steel columns. In this paper, the ductility index and its influential factors were explored to investigate the behavior of SRC columns. A straightforward approach was then proposed by establish...
